Brandon and Lydia invited Jesse and I into a beautifully charming, good country-loving day. The cheery property welcomed us within minutes, not to mention Lily the resident wedding cat who donned several of the detail shots. Those who know me would never call me a cat-lover, but she was the sweetest photo companion.
The whole morning impressed me with the high value these two have for family. Everyone in their wedding party were sisters and brothers — from birth and grafted in, and Lydia and Brandon’s son Logan was the star of the show, making a dashing ring bearer (better yet a ring security guard).
As the day unfolded, I was able to catch glimpses of the family histories these two shared, and how they work together. Brandon does the cooking ( and from what I hear, he is a five start chef ). Lydia laughs and makes Brandon laugh. Their steady, very rooted love was aptly celebrated by families and friends of many years, many miles and and many memories. In the toasts it was said that they had been together for 13 years, so here’s to 13 down and the rest of your lives to go!
