The Battle of the Blues is at an end, and there is no better way to join in with UNC’s celebration than posting this beautiful UNC alumni engagement session. We made our way, despite the crowds and horrible parking, to some of the highlights of UNC Chapel Hill’s campus. Although it was old hat to Jessica and Shawn, Henry (their rescue pup) and I were newbies to the sights (of course I was more interested in the old buildings, and Henry more concerned with fire hydrants and cat-sized squirrels). Amidst waiting for students and teachers to walk out of the frame and catching Henry after he chewed off his leash, I learned just a smidgen of what makes these two tick. They know how to make each other laugh and they know how to knit a family. Not only did these two already adopt a small Zoo (okay..two cats and a dog) but they are throwing a double ceremony (Traditional Indian AND a Traditional American ceremony), truly making sure that every member of their family can celebrate with them. I seriously cannot wait to capture this day. See you two soon!
