Nicole and Brandon

I had been looking forward to this wedding all year. It’s a special treat when you shoot another photographer’s wedding, and as I mentioned during their engagement session, it really inspired me to chase after light and there’s an understanding between me and the clients when I reach for a creative shot. On top of that, these two are just genuinely beautiful people through and through. I loved texting Nicole all throughout the year leading up to their wedding, she updating me with their plans and just life! I walked onto that wedding day with such a comfortability and excitement to share in their day.

The sweetness and the evident constancy between Nicole and Brandon was emphasized by the beautiful day and care of the details. Since I last shot at the Oaks, they purchased the wild field and barn on the back of their lot. It provided the most wild and beautiful backdrop for these two. Paired with Nicole’s classical and boho-esque lace dress and barefoot sandals, it was a dream.

Those Details:

  1. Those delicate barefoot sandals
  2. Nicole’s DRESS…. WOW
  3. The sun-filled field during Brandon and Nicole’s portraits
  4. The ice-cream sundae bar
