Tiffany and Peter

Tiffany and Peter were so intentional in communicating their personalities through their wedding day. They didn’t limit themselves to a theme or abide by the rules of wedding conventions. They infused the day with the things that make them them, whether it was their Pride and Prejudice-esque vintage coattails and lace dress, the Harry Potter wand salute entrance into their reception, or the center-pieces graced with their favorite books ranging from Shakespeare, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Star Wars and the Great Gatsby. They were intent on enjoying the day as any other day, doing the things they loved. During their first look, I quite literally felt like we disappeared in their eyes (which is how I want it). Even as the stress of the day started to creep up on Tiffany, I watched Peter so kindly and gently reassure her and dismiss the issues right away. And Tiffany drew in Peter’s focus, helping him to slow and take it all in. These two really worked together beautifully, and enjoyed their wedding day, belly laughed, hand-squeezing, all the way through. They know how to enjoy and savor a moment. I especially loved that they recruited a talented friend to pain their wedding day scene. Her brush stroked over a canvas as they twirled and moved across the dance floor for their first dance. All in all, it was a fellow English Major’s dream wedding to see all the literature and creativity come together.
