Harmantzis Family

Nearly two years ago this month, we were weathering a hurricane on their wedding day. While everywhere around us had lost power and suffered flooding damage, their venue dodged the damage, and the clouds parted for their beautiful nuptials. Fast forward, and I get to once again gather with Harmantzis family (but this time its with the missing member of the family that wasn’t able to come to the wedding—Austin). Austin is a rescue pup, and they along with his big and sweet personality spread awareness of need for pet adoption through rescue agencies and shelters. You can follow his instagram here.

I am a HUGE dog person. I know that you might feel uncomfortable or embarrassed when your dog charges the camera only to cover me in slobber or when he incessantly barks and chases squirrels. I want you to know I’m not bothered at all. These guys are part of the family, and I love, invite, and capture the chaos with joy.
