Hailey and Ryan

Ryan and Hailey took a chance with us. They had never met me before the wedding day. Our only communications had been a string of emails. Regardless of not meeting them, I felt like I knew them. They expressed their vision for this wedding to be family-centric, close and personal and I quickly became so excited to be a part of their intimate wedding day. The guest count was 15 people including Jesse and myself so you can imagine how honored we felt to be one of the few in attendance. They had only invited their immediate family members from Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina to the church where Hailey's mother, and grandmother before her, said their vows and were wed. The small group huddled in the choir rooms of the heirloom church where Hailey's grandfather previously pastored. They exchanged rings, made promises, and were announced the Hanahans in the doming ceilings of the sanctuary. We rushed over to a vineyard thirty minutes away, walked the rows of budding grapes snapping photos, and settled into the secluded barrel room candle lit and romantic. The four hours flew by. We left them at the start of the reception to eat and relax in the mirth of each other's company. Congratulations Ryan and Hailey! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this day!
