Katie and Michael

If you followed along for Michael and Katie's engagement photos, you know that meeting them and becoming their wedding photographer was just one of those things where I lucked out majorly. These fellow pup-parents and coffee addicts have definitely surpassed the client-status to friend status. I absolutely LOVED shooting this day. From the get-go Katie's infectious laugh and thankfulness spread throughout her bridesmaids and family. She took a couple moments alone to spend with each woman in her life that had greatly shaped her, grandmothers, mother-in-law, mom, friends. She tickled and goofed around with her every-adoring flower girls. On the other side, Michael, truly one of the most goofy guys I have met, enjoyed his wedding morning in the best of way, relaxing with his dog, his guys, and employing the very best antics to get a laugh out of my second shooter. And really that was how the day unraveled with a ton of goofy antics, sweet slow moments, and their beloved Aly-pup, who by the way was their ring bearer. I should also mention that this sweet crazy dog saw me kneeling at the end of the aisle, got really excited and successfully cleaned the front of my lens with that sloppy pink tongue of hers and it was really one of my favorite things about the day. It was such a joy celebrating with these two, and I'm so glad I get to be their friends!
