Bekah and Dylan
Bekah and Dylan are one of those ideal clients that you get once in a life time. We sat down for coffee, and apart from going over the logistics of the wedding and photography packages, we talked about the art, the intentional colors, the framing, and the vision behind my photography…because they just got it. Both Bekah and Dylan have an artistic eye. Bekah, a photographer herself, and Dylan, a videographer, needed little explanation on why I do what I do. When we met up for coffee again at one of their frequented coffee dates (Morning Times) I wanted to capture their vivacious chemistry and the artistic elements of their own personalities. They spoiled me with their adventurous spirit. Not only did we contextualize their engagement shoot by picking locations that meant something to them and their journey as a couple, but we went outside the box, or building…
Dylan led us up to an empty parking garage where we could easily see most of downtown Raleigh’s scape. These fearless two sat on a wall stories up while I leaned over the edge to capture the sun peering through the mirror-walled buildings. I promise that I don’t ever ask my clients to do life-threatening stunts, but if they want to get a little edgy (pun intended) then I am so game.
Their love and charisma was effortless to capture, and on top of it all they had the sweetest furry pup to complete the picture.
Bekah, Dylan. I CANNOT wait to tell the rest of this story.
